I just had the opportunity to chaperone my son's marching band for an away game. These kids are helping each other with instruments, picking up bandmates dropped music, cleaning up OTHER PEOPLE'S trash, etc. They cheered the other team's band as we loaded up to leave. I think the kids are going to be just fine.
