Talking about Medical Gaslighting, I went to go get a colonoscopy. I thought I would be out under and kept asking what my sedation would be. I was only told two minutes before the surgery that they would do conscious sedation, I asked what that meant and the doctor was so rude and said “it means what I said, conscious sedation”, I said what kind of meds and she said a shot of fentanyl. I knew from a previous surgery that this wasn’t going to do anything but at this point I felt I had no choice.
