There is a luxury clientele for every type of photography - I know photographers who do 1200 minimum for a senior session and I know people who start at $150 it depends on you, your growth and your market - and marketing

I’m a photographer in the Bay Area I don’t charge exactly this but it’s close to the going rate in the area for weddings.

I usually never charge by the hour. But I routinely make more than that per hour for my portraits.
