My daughter was diagnosed in Uni. I thought everything she experienced was ‘normal’. But in typical ND fashion I jumped into researching it (this is a trait many of us have). I couldn’t emotionally accept the implications at first, so it took me a couple of years to cope with the idea before going to be diagnosed. It is very common for ND people flock with other people with ND. I started to look around and realised that most of my most interesting and beloved friends were very ND.
