Was gifted a Visa Vanilla gift card. It’s declined everywhere even though it has a balance available. When I try to get help over the phone they say go to the website, which gives me errors I can’t move past. What a scam!

2 小時內	Sarah Day itssarahday	If you know exactly how much is on the card, have the cashier enter that amount as the payment amount before processing. Those cards tend to decline when the transaction amount exceeds the amount of the card. This was the only workaround I could find when I was a cashier. Hope this helps!
2 小時內	Erika Prater prater_erika	Reload your Amazon gift card balance for that exact amount, using that card as the form of payment. At least you’ll be able to spend the funds on Amazon. I do this all the time when I have Visa/MC gift cards with random small amounts left over on them.
