It’s all about the sexual energy of creation and how we manage to get consumed by our egos, the apple is an analogy, as many things in the Bible, that we wrongly take as literal subjects, but most of the ideas from ancient religions including what Crist come to teach us, come around to the idea that we should be using that sexual energy to unlock the full potential of our minds and body, but instead our soul is trapped by our egos, that’s why eating the apple was the original sin.

I’m not sure why, but most children books refer to the forbidden fruit as an apple. I thought it was an apple until I grew up and read the Bible for myself.
