My 6-year-old asks me, at bedtime, if I wanted to be a mummy. Me: I really did, for a long time. I was very happy when you were born. Her: I was waiting for you. I go to say something more, and she is asleep.

My son told me many, many times that he remembered picking me out to be his mother. Maybe they did choose us!

Aww so beautiful. I’ve always had a feeling my daughter was destined to come to me in this lifetime ❤️

I chose the wrong parents, it seems. This is actually a traumatic and victim blaming idea to tell to people that were abused as children. I get that it is all warm and cuddly for the parents but just think about what you are saying to those of us that were not lucky enough to have wonderful childhoods.
