A friend asked me to pray for him, to find his true self. I sent him the prayer and realized how much I needed it as well. Here goes: “May you shed everything that’s not you easily without attachment. May you find your true self, the only part of you that’s eternal and non changing. May you build a strong connection with that part of yourself so that it becomes unshakable.”
