There’s been lots of fan edits of the Original Trilogy over the years. This one, “The Final Cut”, is stellar. It combines the best of the Special Editions and Theatrical Versions, removing dumb changes (Greedo shooting first, Vader’s “Nooo!”, bad CGI, etc.) and retaining good ones (updated effects, added dialogue, extended scenes, etc.) from the newer Special Edition releases. It’s an astounding accomplishment by David Kaylor (@thevarietyguy), building on the work of countless others.
