I have heard that good paying jobs are harder to come by in SLO. At least jobs that support the cost of living. They said, life is short, put some numbers together and make a plan for what you’ll need (job, medical, schools, etc) ,start interviewing and get your dream. From what I understand the county of SLO is one of the largest employers, along with the CSU up there. Hope that helps.
