LACK OF SLEEP. - Multiple middle of the night feeds nobody else can do except you. - Trying not to fall asleep while feeding and dropping or crushing baby. - Being present/ coherent/ safe/ fighting brain fog in the day due to altered sleep patterns that rarely let you get into deep restorative sleep at night.

Eating and drinking enough

Honestly breastfeeding my first was a breeze but my second was really struggling and THAT was the hardest thing. Knowing I’d done it before with no trouble and then really struggling… I felt like I was specifically failing her.
