Uhhh, usually a recipe for disaster. 18 is your era for wanting to have fun, enjoy your uni life etc. 27 is when you start looking to start making things more stable, still probs partying but you've got responsibilities to start dealing with. The gap in mindset will highly likely cause problems down the line, but hey, if they wanna try, that's on them 🤣

No. Why can't/doesn't the 27 year old date someone closer to their age? Maybe because they enjoy someone less experienced in life & relationships who they can manipulate. Maybe the people their age have stayed away bc they notice something the young person doesn't. Maybe they'd want to 'date' younger but it's not legal. Lots of icky reasons.

As an 18 y/o I could never imagine dating a 27 y/o 😭 the gap in maturity is big + what the hell does a 27 y/o want from an 18 y/o

18yr olds think they’re mature enough until they’re older and are actually mature enough. i grew up fast asf, moved out at 18 and all, thought i was mature and was very wrong. i’m 20 now, and within 3 years i’ve realized that. now imagine how mature a 27 yr old with 10 yrs of experience and maturity is vs that 18yr old? not a great match, and very odd that a 27yr old would ever try or consider this, they know better.

as a 27 year old, 18 year olds look like children to me, ew.
