I was walking on the sidewalk in downtown Denver this weekend, and a man riding an electric scooter was riding ON the sidewalk towards us. He tried to go around us, and the front tire of the scooter went directly into the hole of one of these “tree grates” and the scooter FLIPPED and he fell and hit the pavement really hard 🫣 So many people seem to be oblivious that you’re not allowed to ride scooters on the sidewalk unless it’s part of a designated bike path, or you’re getting on/off of it. 😵‍💫
