Went to the Apple store today. Checked out the iPhone 16 Plus as that's the only interesting model. I have an 11 Pro Max right now and while the new colors are nice, I can't help the fact that I'm basically buying the same phone. It's not a significant upgrade at ALL. Save the action & camera buttons it's the same refresh rate, same camera quality, same UI. This is why I'd rather switch to Galaxy.

Nobody's forcing people to upgrade their phones, feel free to stick to your phone. But don't mislead others by saying there's no significant upgrade. Check the specifications for actual FACTS.

一天內	Ben Amos dumbcarshlt	For a while now flagship phones from all brands have only really been slight upgrades from gen to gen. This has been the case for Apple, Samsung, Pixel, etc. for a while now. I think most users should really skip 3 or four generations of phone upgrades to see a significant increase in performance and features. I think the iPhone 16 lineup is probably best for someone using an iPhone 11 like OP for example. If you have a 13-15 there is hardly any incentive to upgrade. 1/
