Why on earth would anyone submit their life to an ill concieved, incoherent concept of some supernatural being? A super natural realm cannot exist , definitionally, and gods simply cannot exist because humans have created the concept of gods. The word god it not directly linked to an existent being , just the concept of some ideal being.

Like many have said, we become a bigger target once we decide to take that leap into our new life. But God will get us through it, He fills us with strength we didn’t even know we had! And like someone else said- He shapes us through it all. Even when we fumble and give in to temptations of the past, He forgives and just wants us to try again.
