It’s only been a tad bit over 30 years since our country tried to make it illegal to abuse women. This has slowed the abuse down some, although it certainly has not stopped it. Women have had the “right“ to vote just over 100 years in United States. So when my mother was born, her mother had no voting or property rights. That wasn’t very long ago really. And you wonder why sometimes we get a little hot under the collar
