you're free to read what you want, calling books "fetishy and plastic" based on their writers' presumed identity is a dick move tho. just because someone is not out, or not queer for the matter, doesn't mean they can't write meaningful stories with fleshed out characters. let's maybe encourage hiring sensitivity readers instead of discouraging people from writing diverse stories?
