Early 2000's I planned a girl's trip to New Orleans. 8 women with different financials so the hotel had to be affordable. I choose the Roosevelt Hotel opened in 1893. The hotel had suites and we needed 2 to split us into 2 groups. Upon arriving I felt the age of hotel as we checked in. The suite was spacious but felt old. We were tired and the four of us in my suite turned in around 9 pm. Not much later I awoke to noise in the room. I sat up and looked around thinking it was one of us. ⬇️
