Same here, instagram recommands mostly bigger artists on my feed and I looked for like-minded artists here and discovered some gems 🤩 I'm a small artist myself but I guess I'm not exactly what IG promotes as I make no reels or stories and just put out whatever I feel like drawing or painting. I also like trying out different mediums so IG is like a virtual sketchbook to me. I only wish I could exchange more with people on art, ask for or give advice and I feel Threads is more useful for that.
