I think every one has covered everything well, but, will add that just being there and listening to her and giving her the space to talk to you about all the stuff going on with her is a huge help. I know a lot of people demand you should clean or bring food but I think being present and listening is just as nice. Fair warning I was not ready to let anyone hold my babies at 10 days. Also paper plates & disposable cutlery!
