I believe plants and animals are not all that different. Our existence requires an energy source or life in order for us to live again each day. This is the karmic cycle of life and we all ultimately give back into this cycle through our our passing. I believe when we die our energy or soul returns to the energy of consciousness and our body is returned into the cycles of nature. Science is showing that plants and certain types of funghi have methods of communication and levels of consciousness.
