I just read a fascinating article and as soon as I finished, my first thought was... Wow... Not only am I made of trillions of cells of which only a fraction are "me," but those that are "me" are also capable of independent action after "I" am no longer. My body results from a coordinated and cooperative effort undertaken by cells that, when removed, could choose to be different than they are now. It would seem, I am choosing or have chosen to be "me."
