Colorado Task Force 1 (CO-TF1) has just received notification that the team is being deployed to assist in operations for Hurricane Helene, which is expected to be a Category 4 hurricane when it makes landfall in Florida tomorrow. Colorado will be sending a 45 member team, heading to Chattanooga, Tennessee for staging. CO-TF1 is one of 28 FEMA Urban Search and Rescue teams across the country. The team is made up of members from fire agencies all along the front range.
