It was my grandmother’s 85th birthday recently, and I did a write up about some of the “quirks” about doing South Carolina research.  By “quirks” I mean social justice issues. I’m the blue sheep in my family - I don’t actually know for sure if my grandma is aware of my political stances But I honestly kept debating if I should scrap it because I didn’t want to cause issues. But women’s rights (or lack of) are especially directly relevant. So I kept it. And I’m glad
