It’s hard for me to be friends with women who are actively dating or in relationship with men. The toxicity of those experiences spill out into the friendship with snarky remarks, subtle anger and frustration, jealousy and general unhappiness. I can always tell when the relationship isn’t going well or is on the brink of collapse because it shows up in the women’s energy and projects into her friendships. I believe this is at the core of why working with women often times isn’t enjoyable.
