👋🏼 we all struggling. Some people just like to pretend they don’t have anything to work on and become self righteous and judge mental. Goal is keep growing, keep your heart postured toward becoming more like Jesus and toward holiness. A lot of time I got caught in old patterns from unhealed things - not getting to the root of why I was choosing to go back to certain things/ cycles, If I were to do it all over again id start there — instead I spend years going in circles. ♥️

I've come to see that sin is not something that is just turned off. In Genesis 3:22, after Adam & Eve sinned, God exiles them from the garden of Eden so they wouldn't eat of the tree of life & live forever. This means that no matter how long we live, even as Christians and even with the Holy Spirit in us, we will never progress to a point in which we no longer sin. Solomon discovers this fact when thinking of wisdom in Ecclesiastes 7:15-16, saying that both the fool and the wise will die.

That's everyone. The more we feed our faith, the more we walk away from our faults. Our assurance does not lie with our flesh; it relies on Jesus and His shed blood 👍🏾

Because you're struggling, that's where the Holy Spirit wants you to surrender. If you weren't close to a break through the adversary wouldn't be bothering you also. Read Psalm 91 and let Jesus Christ know that you need help. 🕊👍👍🕊

Yo know what realise when we sin purposly is because we haven’t replace that sin/impultion with something else. Sure you can be I will stop sinning but when you find yourself at a low point it will be easier for your brain/body to go back to its old ways bc it feels safe/ goes to that it knows.

You are not alone. I asked God to help me with fleshly desires. I believe that He will complete the work He has started in me. Keep the faith.

Whenever we are tempted to sin, there's always a way out (1 Cor 10:13) and let's remember that God is ABLE to keep us from falling 👇🏽 Jude 1:24-25 24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. And just like Jesus when He was tempted, He responded with "it is written" (Matt 4:1-11) and so must we all!
