I’ve found after many years in this business where the rule is there are no rules, that almost anything within reason works. Most actors these days have their reps listed with SAG, IMdB, ActorsAcess, their websites or IG profiles. That being said, some of my biggest jobs in the past (a CBS series, and two pretty big pilots) all came from people I knew, who recommend someone call me in. Manifest destiny, or a fluke.
