Hind sight is always 20/20, ideas, inventions, treatments, throughout American history seemed revolutionary at the time only to find out it was the worst thing ever, like asbestos, labadame's, nuclear bombs, advertising smoking to incourage low birth weight, anyway the point is we know now these were bad ideas, only after 30 or 50 years, wonder what mistakes we are making now that in 30 or 50 years they will be like can you believe they did that!!
