The problem is gaming has become something it's not supposed to be. You have movies, television, AND books to tell stories. Don't drag gaming into it, too. Games should set up a situation with a simple, out of the way quickly narrative and then concentrate on the actual gameplay, which no one seems to really care about any more because games aren't nearly as high quality in the actual controls and gameplay than they were in the old days. Gaming went downhill in the mid-90s and is trash now.
