today in my house we celebrate a thing call “Duck Fiabetes “ ( because fu€k diabetes). 9 years ago our oldest daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. i found her lethargic on the bathroom floor. i’d never seen anyone lethargic before. she spent a week in the children’s hospital getting healthy again. today she is strong and powerful, a true badass. i admire her. the diabetes can put her on her butt every so often but she’s resilient
