This! I’ve been an avid reader since like 8. When I ran out of books as a teen, I started moving on to older teen and adult books (some from my mums shelf 😅). She never once tried to stop me reading, like my friends parents did, because I was too young. Instead she sat down and explained adult fiction books to me (I used to skip the smex scenes tho). But she also made sure that I knew they were fiction, and I could ask any question I wanted if I was unsure. It’s why I love reading so much now ❤️
