I need someone to explain why the Wolves would trade one of their key players for next to nothing (Randle is injury prone and Dante brings nothing they don’t already have) the same year they went to the WCF and beat the defending champs. explain it to me like I’m 5. because the adult me must be missing something.

We lacked a confident small guard like that off the bench. He gives us plenty of extra depth for playing teams with multiple great guards (Mavs who they lost to). And then we also got a 1st round pick. Which I have a gut feeling they may go all in and use a future pick or two to add another key player this season at some point. And for Randle, much more physical presence than KAT.
一天內	Nate McLemore-R. nmclemorer	Freeing up salary space to potentially bring in a bigger player… like KD. Wolves also didn’t really NEED KAT, especially with Randle and Naz. Naz can slot into that position starting perfectly and we needed a strong PG to either be the back up for Conley or be the starter so Conley can come off the bench. I’m not ruling out another trade to send Randle / Divincenzo to the Suns to get KD with Ant. I guarantee it will happen by next season. Trust in Connelly to make the right moves.
