Question to Americans: I heard an expression today that sounds like “fo-ha” (if I remember correctly) which means “a no-no”, does anyone know what exactly that expression is? I heard this from a retired couple traveling from St. Louis, Missouri, we were talking about how a significant population smoke here in Paris, and they said “In the US nowadays it’s a fo-ha”.
