Update: I went searching for more info about her and couldn’t find anything via Google search - but I did find out that my uni’s library has a scrapbook about her and what she did for the city! She served on the Texas Congress of Parents and Teachers Association as a parliamentarian, president of a district of the Texas Federation of Women’s Clubs, and was an active civil advocate in the 1940s! They believe she was born 1882, and she passed away in 1964.
