HELP!! Hey Calgarians, I’m new to the city. I need suggestions for snow jackets that can survive the crazy temperatures below -20 degrees! calgarythreads

Mark’s (formally Mark’s Work Wearhouse). I take transit, so having a good coat is necessary. I found a mid-shin-length (I’m 6’) puffer jacket that doesn’t make my hair staticky that I got on sale for like $100, I think? I’ll try to find a link!

Layers, and I have a Columbia parka with the omni heat tech which covers my butt. I wear it out in -30s and 40s (and colder) also need to invest in good gloves and boots. I’m working on finding good boots still.

I live in Edmonton and the first thing I did was buy a parka from North Face. I bought the Arctic Parka. It keeps me warm on any ingredients up to -30... Anything passed that your gonna be cold! I also got some really good snow boots! I bought mine from Kamik

The winter jacket I have, has it detachable fleece liner, which I can use as a jacket in the fall or the spring and it is really warm and it just zips in to the shell.. you don't need to spend hundreds of dollars on a jacket. You're only gonna wear maybe three months of the year, all you need is a jacket that has a fleece liner and layering and you will be fine.
