Does anyone know how Google (Maps) knows how busy a place is? I get it, they have location data from soooo many phones. But is location data really that accurate? My gym (below) is one the second floor of a department store and directly above a very popular restaurant, which I would have thought would make data that relies solely on GPS a little bit… wobbly?
