On 9/27, on my birthday, my son’s father unexpectedly passed away. We had been together for 25 years. A long time. I was only 18. This past year we hit a rough patch in our relationship but we fought through in knowing our son deserved to have two engaged parents regardless of our status. He was my best friend & he was a great dad. I wanted him to be in my son’s life always. But God called him home a little earlier than expected. No more suffering Charlie.
