Sooo many options, worlds class theater and opera, top rated zoo with recent exhibits, one of the biggest museums in the world MFAH, Natural Science Museum, NASA, the Strand, Botanical Gardens, Herman Park, Buffalo Bayou, Post rooftop gardens, Montrose, Midtown, Woodlands River Walk and Shopping district, lots of piney tree hikes up north, Great Wolfe Lodge. Houston is a hidden gem. So glad crowds are not horrible like other over rated cities. Still one of my fav cities.

Definitely rooftop bar/movie or discovery park.

Museum district.. go to a Texans/Astros/Rockets game.. rodeo cookoff..

The Houston Grand Opera is 👌

The Museum district has lot to offer in sight seeing. Some other sights to see the water wall, you can goto the houston zoo, galleria for shopping. Astros are in the post season so exciting baseball if you're interested. I know you said not food but the aquarium is nice, basically a restaurant/aquarium. Memorial park is good for a hike. The Post has alot going on as well as Cidercade. you can also visit one of our many brewery's.
