They actually sell a spice jar labeled pumpkin spice so if you don’t wanna mix your own there’s that but most pumpkin spice has: cinnamon ginger nutmeg cloves and allspice

It's just a seasoning mix that was added to pumpkin to make pumpkin pie and then they took that seasoning and tossed into into everything they possibly could. You can google a recipe for "pumpkin spice mix" to find out the exact ratios but I have always found it gross.

Pumpkin in this case is an adjective to describe the spices. This spice blend is traditionally used for Pumpkin Pie of course, but anything with that spice profile is called "pumpkin spice"
