Folks, you gotta stop comparing Echoes of Wisdom to Pokemon. Much like the Palworld comparisons, if you are comparing the two then you aren't understanding what is core to Pokemon - the deceptively deep battle system. The games don't often force you to think about it past the rock-paper-scissors aspect of typing, though it has been pushing it to the forefront in the newer games, but if you ever look into the pro-scene you will be stunned.
