Devastation. Apocalyptic. Destroyed. Gone. These words are describing the beautiful Western North Carolina area right now in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. I live up the hill above Biltmore Village. It’s almost unrecognizable now. So many of our towns and cities are hurting right now.
