i expect absolutely no one to agree with me on this take but if jk rowling were to change her mind, apologize, and use her considerable resources to help trans people, i would forgive her. every trans person has every right to hate her and i will never say anything to the contrary. but also i want trans people to thrive more than i want to hate a single person and i want to be the kind of person who is able to be kind to people who don’t want me to exist.
