is it normal to completely question your chosen name because it has a slight association with the opposite gender. i didn’t really realize it until now but now Im questioning whether if it’s too late change.

If you want to try and skew the association you can introduce yourself as “Jas, short for Jasper like the ✨gemstone✨” since gemstones are considered more of a feminine thing?
