Back out in the pouring rain on my endless, and as yet fruitless search for 𝘍𝘢𝘦𝘳𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘢 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘣𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘢, the firesite funnel It’s a very rare mushroom which has been recorded in my area, albeit many years ago. It grows on burned soil in woodland fire sites and I’m determined to find it 🔍🔥
