Centre Releases ₹5,858.60 Crore for Flood Relief, Sikkim to Receive ₹23.60 Crore The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced the release of ₹5,858.60 crore to 14 states hit by severe flooding, heavy rains, and landslides during the southwest monsoon. Sikkim is allocated ₹23.60 crore from the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) and an advance from the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) to support recovery efforts in the affected areas.
