Republicans cried for years over Obama’s ability to take his personal experiences and use it to humanize himself to voters throughout his speeches. Vance just attempted to use his mother’s addiction, his grandmother’s dependence on state resources, and a woman’s DV/pro-choice experiences to garner sympathy. Absolute disgrace.
