Probably because of the difference in medical school curriculum and licensed physician workload in comparison to a naturopath. Naturopaths can’t even be an inpatient primary physician. You’re not going to call a naturopath for ESLD, epliglottitis, or necrotizing pancreatitis. This is an apples to oranges comparison. Furthermore, in a clinic setting, MDs/DOs are expected to see 22-30 patients daily. Naturopaths have no such requirement.

Probably from stress and being overworked! Being a doctor is probably one of the heaviest loads to bare in terms of profession. Even more so now, a lot people don’t take responsibility for their own health. Always looking for blame and expect healthcare professionals to be able to fix every problem they have

This is because MDs are under extreme stress. I personally work 80 hours per week as a resident. I have worked 100s of 26 hour call shifts without food. Despite this I weight lift, run and cycle. But the nutrition and sleep is not there.

Could be the difference in hours worked, they work brutally long and demanding work shifts. I haven't met or seen a naturopath that didn't work out of their home kitchen.
