Currently unpopular opinion - Don't move to Minnesota. I lived there 5 years (Mankato & Minneapolis), and unless you grew up in a cold place, the winter is brutality. I'm from Wisconsin and the winters in MN were somehow worse. Summer is quite lovely though.
