I have a hotel reservation for 3 nights, but my plans changed and I will only be in town for nights 2 and 3. Making an actual change to the reservation isn't possible because if I do so, the rate for the room will nearly double. I am happy to pay for the 1st night to hold the room to ensure I have the place to stay for nights 2 and 3. Is this kind of thing normally a problem or is a simple call to the hotel all it will take? Want to avoid being cancelled as a no show Any advice?
