My fourth daughter d!ed in utero at 8.5 months. She was perfectly healthy other than an undetected knot in her cord. My doctor induced labor. I held her for three hours. The recent rhetoric around late term pregnancies and abortions is traumatic for those of us who have lived the nightmare of losing a baby so desperately wanted. It is terribly delicate.
